Drilling Department
The main purpose of the drilling department is to identify the ground layers and obtain intact and other samples in order to determine the strength factors of the soil.
The identification methods include the following: surface detection, including the examination of the site, qanats (subsurface water ways), identification of the subsurface facilities, and taking photos; subsurface detection in order to accurately detect the layers and conduct field examinations required and taking samples for laboratory tests.
Such identifications are conducted in two ways: manual drilling and machine drilling, which enables drilling deeply, especially under the water.
Drilling Department Equipment
Rods, a variety of samplers like Shelby tube sampler, jacks and loading equipment, casing, a variety of drilling bits, SPT core cutter, equipment needed for soil density test, drilling machines and transportation equipment.
